Following successful installtaion of the Rotor of Unit 2 - Xekaman Xanxay Hydropower Plant earlier on April 5, 2018, at 09:00 on April 30, 2018, Xekaman 1 Power Company Limited and the contractors jointly installed the Stator of Unit 2 of the Plant.

This event marked a milestone in achieving the goal of putting the entire Xekaman Xanxay Hydropower Project into operation by June, 2018. Together with Unit 1 (already operational on January 31, 2018), the capacity of the Xekaman Xanxay Hydropower Plant will be increased to 32MW, supplying Vietnam's power grid with 132 million kWh per year.
